Accessibility
We want BidBroom’s website and digest emails to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or high-contrast settings.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with a clear heading structure and real data tables.
- A “skip to content” link and visible keyboard focus outlines.
- Colours chosen for at least 4.5:1 text contrast, in the site and in the email.
- Labelled form fields; status such as “due soon” is written in text, not shown by colour alone.
- Automated axe-core checks on each release, plus manual keyboard checks.
Known limitations
- Wide tables scroll horizontally on small screens.
- The signup form is a placeholder and is disabled until signup opens.
